Perhaps the nun insisted on making her Confession to the Bishop himself and the holy Bishop may have agreed eventually. But who knows whether he refused absolution unless as penance she shared some intimate moments with him? One can never know the lofty minds & motives of our saintly senior clerics these days.
Does Goa's Archbishop have any opinions on the matter?

Any nun as far as I am concerned must be regarded as a no-amen ejaculation
site. They walk a different line. This goes for every being including
children, altar boys, women, girls, mermaids, mermen, farm animals,
orangutans, deer, whatever; and besides, ecclesiastics take a vow of
celibacy. Now please do not tell me how unnatural that is, and why the
church came up with this requirement. A vow dear genius is a vow. Go flip
something, fry something, sell something to massage your libidos.
