The opposition is bending over by press notes and letters to the authority in this financial, economic crisis. Everyone needs help , just exclude who does not. May be those on pay role, rich industrialists, politicians etc The list of workers out of job is endless. Who is going to pay them. It is the general public with enhanced taxes The Govt resources are down due to slow down in economic activities The MALA’s are issuing press notes on behalf of numerous groups of unemployed .It is only to get sympathy and political mileage. Suggest how it can be done, dip into your own pockets to aid a few at lear in your own constituencies and your voters .That is not a priority except where the publicity can be generated out of misery of the needy . Let Politicians forgo a part of mind boggling perks, besides pensions. Donating from MP’s development fund is ridiculous as it is Govt resource .Criticism per se and making recommendations without solutions is best ignored It is a pleasure that individuals and NGO’s are coming forward to do the needful and voluntarily and not for any publicity .It is amusing that some noted politicians are grabbing headlines to portray as guardian angels of downtrodden, castigating Govt for their assumed sins of omissions and commissions Voters have seen through the veils of hypocrisy .Everyone must rise to the occasion and generate self help to the extent possible, so that the most vulnerable are protected fro extreme misery .It is wrong to amplify our needs artificially nelson Lopes Chinchinim Sent from my iPhone Sent from my iPhone
