GOA Public Information from Archdiocese of Goa and Daman There is a message going round that the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman is seeking funds for the recently established COVID Care Centre at Old Goa. We have not made any appeal to anyone, including to the Government, for any funds at this point of time. The COVID Care Centre is an initiative of the Archbishop being taken forward with the funds of the Archdiocese, as a modest contribution of the latter in the mitigation of the present crisis created by the pandemic. The COVID Care Centre facilities are offered absolutely free to anyone needing them, irrespective of creed, caste or social standing. Please do not fall prey to such fake messages or send money to the accounts mentioned therein.
