Now this is not an easy question - The Most Stupid People In The World? no not at all easy to answer and ranks with equally important questions as: Is there a God or not?
Anyway election fever is now high and more dangerous than Covid as it can cause brain damage. With more political parties in the fray for this state election than ever it is not at all easy to know what is going on as the debate goes on and on. The Congress is the B team of the BJP; no no no the BJP is the B team of the Congress! And, on and on it goes! I for one can only rely on my sorcerer and not even on my crystal ball from the time of Portuguese colonialism. Now don’t get me wrong I love the Portuguese but not colonialism - Portuguese, British or any other. Nice to be free and independent - a human being in short and not a colonial clog. Fly in the sky like a bird or like Air India as it is now under the protective wing of Tata. But I digress, easy to do as I did not study enough in school; all the same, the goings-on for this election makes little sense or none at all. We have been blest by all the gods of Christianity, Hindu and Islamic religions with natural wonders but here we all are in a mess and will be in a mess in future too. All the same, I am proud to be a Goan! And, just to assure our ultra-nationalistic Goans I concede: We are not the most stupid people in the world - only second!
