Aloha,

Waaaooow, yet another weird piece of history! I wonder if _any_ Ugandan Asian
actually made it to the contested islands.
( activist protest postcard from the days of the war depicting blating sheeps
amidst of army regalia with the subtext '4 million sheep cannot be wrong!')

The best book on the Ugandan refugees is (immo) without doubt Mahmood
Mamdani's (now back in Uganda!) 'From Citizen to Refugee':
 http://fahamubooks.org/book/?GCOI=90638100176320
And in an ironic twist of history, the Uganda refugee tragedy gave us the
priceless Priti 'now the times are different' Patel as the very refugee hostile
Home Secretary of the UK ...

 Cheerio, p+7D!
