BBC documentary controversy The Govt has in a knee jerk jittery reaction used emergency powers to ban it even on social media platform How it will undermine National security is not understandable.India Is a great Nation that can be rocked and rattled by one such documentary .It may create ripples among Nations specially that India is now heading G20 Presidentship. The ban has attracted more attention and given it undue publicity .It is doubtful to cast aspersions onJudiciary.police and legal system in India.The SC has exonerated Modi and is a closed chapter.It does not however bar any discussion , debate on court order.Besides most of it is written in much more details in books and write ups.The people are already aware of the history and full episode and it is not going to tilt any political fortunes by raking up a controversy .The documentary relates mostly to secrete cominique by British officials which is now released after 20 years The controversy and commotion created inJNU Jamia is unwarranted and so the stand that students have no right and freedom a Of expression and to have an alternative view point In Kerala and Universities of Bengal there is going to be a full blooded support to screening of the documentary.The fall out of this controversy in India may be more than what was bargained for among neigbhours It would have been wiser and fair to let people see and draw their own conclusions Banning has not raised the stock of India in democratic countries.Today it is possible to secure it from various sources as the curiosity has only been .heightened.The slant of conial mindset is ludicrous opinion.The Govt action has only enhanced interest of the forbidden fruit It will neither benefit the rullung party or the opposition for taking political mileage The argument about sikh riots is no comparison, justification of Godra episode The truth is out there irrespective of SC order or BBC documentary and verdict in the peoples court may not be the same Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
