On her day of retirement citizens led by Gavi Coutinho ,Chinchinim presented her with a pursue by donors. Her plight was highlighted by admirers and Veriato entered the scene. Public attention and sympathy was drawn towards her legitimate need The Govt joined the effort and undertook the repairs formality at the direction of new MP . In the mean time concerned wellwihhers mobilized material,labour to render immediate help.It is surprising that Govt agency with police presence stopping the private initiative.The Collector should instead divert attention towards other cases crying for rehabilitation due to natural disaster.
