On Sep 8 and 9 TCA is organasing 2nd All Goa Primary School Students Chess
Tournament at International Centre Goa, Donapaula. Tournament will be
conducted in four categories.
A. 1st & 2nd Standard Boys
B. 3rd & 4th Standard Boys,
C. 1st & 2nd Standard Girls and
D. 3rd & 4th Standard Girls.
Prizes : First three in each category (total 12) will receive Shri
Buddhidatavinayk Trophy and a Book on Chess as Prize. Special Prizes will be
given to Schools from border talukas of Goa
Rolling Trophy : Shri Buddhidata Vinayak Rolling Trophy for boys, and Shri
Buddhidevata Vinayak Rolling Trophy for Girls will be given to the Schools.
On basis of best team performance by first two in each category.
Chess tournament will be played in Swiss League System where in each
participant will play at least 6 games.
Reporting time Sat 8th Sep 2007 at 2.00pm.
Timing Sat 2.00pm to 6.30 pm, on Sunday 9th Sep from 9.00am to 6.00 pm
followed by prize distribution function. There will be lunch break of one
hour in between 1.00 to 2.00pm.
Entry fee Rs.50/- Entry forms will be available and accepted from 15th
August 2007 at
1. Taleigao Chess Academy, Dynasty Manor, Odlembhat, Near Bank of India,
Taleigao, Caranzalem Goa.
2. International Centre Goa (ICG) University Road, Donapaula, Goa
Last Date of Submission of entry form Aug 31, 2007 (Late entries with fine
of Rs.50/- total Rs.100/- may be accepted at TCA).
No restriction on No of entries from a school. Participant should come in
Full School Uniform.

occasion
Taleigao Chess Academy Sports Club's main aims are:
1.To promote chess as learning tool.
2.To promote Chess at Pre Primary and Primary level in Goa.
By means of organizing
a. Chess Coaching Classes for children, parents, teachers etc.
b. Chess Tournaments for Children. c. Exhibition of Chess Posters at Public
Places.
d. Holding seminars on Chess. e. Encouraging influential people to create
Chess Parks.
