(Ph: +91-832-2452805 to 10) Online Media Partner: http://www.GOANET.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is spot on, and about time our Goa Press sits up and does its homework properly. In fact the Goa visual media is outstripping the print media in public interest! Example,When I write a public interest letter to the Editor, I send it to all the local dailies, in the hope that what I want to expose/ say will come out. If it features, It generally gets censored/mutilated or vital sentences/conclusion cut for fitting into space available I suppose. Makes no sense to me or what I wanted to say manytimes. Only if a person reads all the dailies, and my letter is featured and remembered, it can have the impact I intended! We rarely get to read about cases of RTI victories, Consumer Court important decisions, follow up of crime reporting, investigative reporting, own sting operations to expose corruption, etc etc.Thank God for the other media and the internet.
