Medical report confirms sexual assault on boy
NT News Service Benaulim, Oct 24 Colva police Inspector Mr Edwin Colaso today disclosed to The Navhind Times that the sexual assault on the boy who was allegedly by his tuition teacher was confirmed after conducting medical examination on him. Mr Colaso said that the medical examination was conducted at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim and the police are in receipt of the report confirming that the 9 year old boy, studying in a local school in class IV was assaulted sexually. He disclosed that a case against the lady tuition teacher, aged 40 has been registered under the Childrens Act and under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code. Asked whether the tuition teacher has been arrested, Mr Colaso said that she is evading arrest even as the police visited her place of residence to take her into custody for investigation.
