Why should a passenger who wants to catch an international flight have to go
to the domestic departure building? Its really strange. Recently I also
ended up contributing to global warming at Dabolim by taking a wrong turn
inside the airport area. Because I didnt turn off towards the arrival gate I
went on to domestic departure, then past international departure, out of the
airport exit, on to the road and back into the entry gate to finally reach
the arrival area.
On another occasion I was struck by the reservation of prime airport parking
space for staff cars. No wonder other cars and taxis were strewn all over
the country side near the airport entrance. Giving airport staff pride of
place doesnt reflect genuine customer orientation. Anyway as some have said,
Dabolim airport needs 100 acres of space not the 35 acres it is making do
with.
