To preserve the character of Panjim city, the plan mooted
in 2000 will be revived, the govt assured the High Court
today. The High Court ordered the govt to submit its plan
of action by March 5 in response to the set of complaints
submitted by Panjim resident Rajan Parrikar.
The CCP and Health dept did not provide answers to
the High Court. The Court was not satisfied by the
answers furnished by the other respondents, and has
now issued an ultimatum to the concerned authorities.
