I do not know what exactly are the questions that were asked of the persons interviewed, but would it not be safe to presume that the opinion sought is of the Indians as a whole, and NOT of the politicians? In his earlier message, Venantius said: "But despite such acts of belligerence and a fascinating insult to itself,they still love the Chinese." The news report that I read said that 55% of the respondents viewed China negatively and 42% positively. I do not think this data would indicate love. In case of India the respective figures are 22% and 69%.
