Depending on how far we are from the BT phone centre we can getat max 4 MBPS. 
Cable is quicker and one can get as fast as 10 MBPS. Todetermine true speed log 
on to Pcpitstop. Check out your computer's speed at the same time.

RESPONSE:
BSNL never advertised or promised to give 100mbps broadband speed. At present 
they have 2mbps at the max, which was 256kbps at the beginning.
I think Mr. faleiro mistuderstood the 100mbps speed which is shown when you 
move your pointer towards those 2 pc icons in the quicklaunch toolbars, they 
dont show actual internet connection speed, ignore them.
I enjoyed the interview of MP with BSNL's broadband......"Connecting 
India"....isn't it?
