I was surfing the internet looking for multimedia coverage of the Museu do Oriente which opened in Lisbon last week and I stumbled on the webcasts of the recent Goa Contacto episodes. Each programme is about 27 minutes long and almost entirely in English.
The first episode covers some of the religious feats celebrated in Goa. The second looks at the media, print and TV, in Goa. The third highlights some Goan personalities. The series is produced by Nalini Elvin de Sousa (shown in the photo), Jude Fernandes and Francisco Verse Machado. It is broadcast fortnightly, on Tuesdays, the next one is scheduled for tomorrow 13 May. The link to the series is http://ww1.rtp.pt/multimedia/index.php?tvprog=20155 Currently the listing is incorrectly labelled.
