charge in the statement issued by the Hon'ble Opposition Leader Shri Manohar

GAKUVED strongly condemn and denies the charge levied on our O-odinator as

In fact Shri Sebastian Rodrigues is working with and helping GAKUVED for the

'MAND' - An Adivasi-rights Resource Centre and Shri Sebastian Rodrigues is
the Co-ordinator of the same. Because the News Agencies in Goa do not take

Shri. Pandurang Kukalkar conested the last June 2007 Assembly Elections from
the Santa Cruz Constituency as an Indepedent Candidate. His election Symbol
was 'TWO CANDLES" the free Symbol chosen by the Goa Su-Raj Party for all
its candidates contesting elections since 2002 as a common 'Symbol' for the
Party since it is yet to open its account in the Goa Legislative Assembly to
obtain 'recognition' from the Election Commission of India to become the
'recognised' political party to be alloted a 'symbol' of its choice.........
which will be the 'Light House'.
It was not a coincident for Pandurang Kukalkar to choose this symbol. His
entire nomination papers were prepared from the office of the Goa Su-Raj
Party. Filing the nomination papers as an 'Independent' was for tactical
reasons.
