Dears, I do hope the subject line is not a self-fulfilling prophecy. It is my daily endeavour to see that the GBA, of which I am proud to be a part, does not end up betraying the masses of Goa like the KPA did in February, 1987.
Rajan Parrikar is playing an important role. There is no denying that. However, he is not the GBA or a part of its Core Group. Anybody can tell the cricket team how to play. It is another ball game to get on the crease and face half a dozen bouncers every over and still save one's wicket! ;-) Rajan is, at best, like a TV commentator at a cricket match. Soter is a part of the GBA and has the same responsibility as any other member of GBA that has gained the trust of the people of Goa ..... and serves as an inspiration to them as did KPA in 1986.
