Its not difficult to become a delegate for IFFI. In 2004 I applied online
directly to Delhi and was accepted. the following years our movie club
Moving Images gave us a letter and we became delegates. This year decided
to become a member of Goacinephile. It took me five minutes to fill the
form, my c.v., photograph, was on their databank and voila, paid Rs.
1,300/- and was accepted as a delegate. Have to collect my delegate pass on
the 11th onwards. There is a catch, have been associated with films for
many many years in the seventies and early eighties.
A couple of my friends who have no film background,no member of any film
club became delegates last year. Its not difficult. Just try.
