Please note the continuation of the tendency to make deceptive claims above,
even after being exposed as having engaged in deliberate deception. He is
trying hard to make you forget the fact that I had pointed out two blatant
instances of editing of the article in question in my very first post in this
thread - sensationalization of the title and insertion of an extraneous
paragraph with politically charged rhetoric that had very little to do with the
offering a solemn tribute to Karkare.

In addition to these changes, here are some examples of the editorial
corrections made to the unedited non-sensational version of the article, which
should have been obvious to anybody who read the two versions carefully:

1. The first instance of ATS has been spelled out as antiterrorist squad.

2. Quotation marks have been put around "in a politically motivated and
unprofessional manner".

3. Pragya Singh has been changed to Pragya Thakur.

4. "Karkare was Maharashtra's one of the best police officers" has been
corrected to "Hemant Karkare was one of Maharashtra's best police officers".

5. "Mujahiddin" has been changed to "Muhajideen", an alternative spelling and
pronunciation that Times of India uses. For example, please see:
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/msid-1794069,prtpage-1.cms

6. "political pressure" has been changed to "political machinations".

Cheers,

Santosh
