Goan people should reject this obscene encroachment of religion into
politics. One cannot prevent such rallies in a democracy, but one can
certainly challenge any attempts to pass laws constraining other
people's rights and freedoms.

In a free market economy people make individual decisions based on
their preferences. Nobody ought to make laws to restrict those
preferences. This should apply in all cases, whether one is talking about 
artists, advertisers, film makers or writers. If you don't like their works or 
products, don't buy them, but you cannot impose your preferences on others.
