Not to pile on journalists but there is no such thing as a "neutral point of
view" anymore. Everything has to be read as a commentary or opinion-editorial
(op-ed) piece. Which is not to say historical events and facts do not occur,
but the reporting is prejudiced by one's political leanings and other biases.

Ideology spins the news report. This is true all over the world, the US cable
news channels and talk-radio taking it to new lows. For example, it might be
3pm, but instead of reporting it as such, the left says it feels like the
humidity of sun-down and the right reports it as the brilliant sunshine of high
noon. And all the guests on the cable news channel discuss how time is
relative, there is no humidity on Mars, the sun never shines on Venus at 4am,
we should adopt the international date line on moon, time stands still at the
center of the sun, etc. And a lot of commercials continue before the next news
program comes on discussing anti-time and pretty beauty contestants tell us how
how quickly time goes by during a beauty contest. They felt it was less than an
instant, eureka: anti-time.

This is the world we will forever live in.
