Yeah, Isidore is very good on the English-to-Konkani side of
translation work. (The amazing thing is that he spent much of his life
outside Goa, just like you Venantius.) For Konkani
(Devanagari)-to-English translations, I feel my own one-time classmate
and Dempo College lecturer Augusto Pinto is simply superb. He's a
returned 'Africander', which goes with what it means (reading a lot of
English literature, whatever!) FN
