I have been operating on cancer patients regularly since 1985 and the one thing that gives me maximum satisfaction is discharging cancer patients that I have operated on for early as well as in many cases advanced cancer few years earlier. I hope most people who read his posts will treat them with the contempt they deserve. I have seen marked increase in diagnosed cancer cases in Goa and I now have a number of friends who have had curative surgery for cancer in goa and Mumbai and are doing well. Most cancers are now either cured completely or even when cancer is advanced, palliative surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy can give these patients valuable years with good quality of life. I hope cancer patients in goa and elsewhere will not shy away from seeking expert help because of the ignoramuses like Fr Ivo. I have one suggestion for moderators: Freedom of speech is fine but when someone like this gentleman( who is obviously educated enough to persist in writing rubbish) writes pure garbage, the moderators should send his writing to the place where they belong: THE BIN.
