I read Fr Ivo's postings with increasing alarm. Ignorance is bliss
indeed. I
have been operating on cancer patients regularly since 1985 and the one
thing that gives me maximum satisfaction is discharging cancer patients
that
I have operated on for early as well as in many cases advanced cancer few
years earlier.

Thanks for the good news. You have been successful in your treatment of
cancer. I hope that all of them have been living without cancer. Have they
died of cancer?
I have given my statement on the basis of our day to day contact with
people. I do not know any one who is still living after cancer therapy. I
know young people who died after having been declared "cured" by the Tata
Memorial Hospital. I know women who died of breast cancer after the
surgery. I know also women who lived for 10 to 25 and one for 50 years
after the surgery or without it. If this is cure of cancer, then it is
debatable. Some have died of cancer. If you have found real, total and
permanent cures of cancer of all kinds and of all stages, it is a good
news for me.
Therefore, my postings should not be thrown into dustbin when I have
explained why I said it and continue to say on the basis of our
observation and experience. People will agree with me. Only basing
ourselves on American and European statistics, we cannot say that cancer
is curable, totally, permanently and at all stages.
I hope you continue to give the good news to all our cancer patients. I
met patients who have been operated but not cured.
