But I'm quite dismayed by a child who opts out of Sunday Mass for no
other reason than it's comfortable to sleep in bed every seventh
morning. I would fully understand if someone mature wanted to opt out
of religion; but beliefs and ethics can't be decided on the basis of
convenience. FN

FN, I am shocked you would have such a view.

Making kids go for Sunday Mass? I almost fell off my chair in a fit of
hysterical laughter. Are you seriously saying that those parents who prefer to
bring up their kids without religion are doing their kids an injustice.

I just don't see why my child should learn something that to me is irrational.
Why would I want my child to learn that the world was created in 6 days?

I don't know now whether I am shocked or just laughing? :-)

Best,
Selma
