There are 'No Goan War Veterans' in Goa. The only War Veterens of Goan origin
are those that were in the British and Indian Armed Forces, then under British
Command.
The so called Freedom Fighters are just all Fake, at least most of them. It is
the Indian Armed Forces that liberated? (annexed) Goa, if at all; not the
flimsy FFs!!
I knew of some of these guys whose main grouse used to be against the Bhatkars
and Gaunkaris of yesteryear. They were fighting for their 'personal' freedom,
alright! They are now 'given'/ handed out the 'cloak' of FF cover; like a
Burqa!!
