Random thoughts on the above points: a: If it was just the colour, In Kolhapur, Gorappa would have been called a Brahmann. If he was of a darker shade, he would be classified as a Sudra, and still darker .....a Ravann. b: When folks come to the plains from the hills, how do the plains' folk know that they are Hill Billy, Ghati or Pahadi or FOB? Is it from the zip code of the letters they receive or luggage-tag on their luggage OR is it from their behaviour? c: After all the postings on corruption in the Kangress-fold appearing on GoaNet, why the sudden silence? d: The following two items are from the neighbouring States of Maharashtra and Karnataka.
