Random thoughts on the above points:

a: If it was just the colour, In Kolhapur, Gorappa would have been
called a Brahmann. If he was of a darker shade, he would be classified
as a Sudra, and still darker .....a Ravann.

b: When folks come to the plains from the hills, how do the plains'
folk know that they are Hill Billy, Ghati or Pahadi or FOB? Is it from
the zip code of the letters they receive or luggage-tag on their
luggage OR is it from their behaviour?

c: After all the postings on corruption in the Kangress-fold appearing
on GoaNet, why the sudden silence?

d: The following two items are from the neighbouring States of
Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Wrt to the first story (Maharashtra) do we believe that Salazar is in
charge of Maharashtra? If so, should we not send our Purifiers to do
the needful? And should we not replace the corrupt Kangress in Goa
with the BJP (like the one in Karnataka) as they will ensure that
corruption never sees the light of day (in court, that is)? See second
story.

A: AFTER TEHELKA published Swami Asimananda’s confession, the MCOCA
court ordered the CBI to reinvestigate the 2006 Malegaon case. This is
poised to split open not only the extent of the Hindutva terror
network but also the insidious underbelly of the Maharashtra Police,
which has earned notoriety over the past few years for torturing and
wrongly implicating a slew of Muslim youth on trumped up terror
charges. http://www.tehelka.com/story_main48.asp?filename=Ne290111WHOWILL.asp

B: Aware that the Karnataka government was in the midst of a
full-blown crisis, BJP hopes moving the high court will enmesh the
governor's order in legal proceedings and give the embattled chief
minister a breather. http://tinyurl.com/6htuohl

Are we not both selectively blind and in denial at the same time?
