The concerned citizens of Goa under the banner of Goenchea Rakhondarancho Awaz (GRA) have been holding candle light vigil cum rally around Margao Garden since Wednesday. On wednesday and Thursday the attendence was in few tens. But on Friday it was tranformed ino a grand rally with youth from various colleges participating. On Friday also it started with 20-30. But in half an hour the mark reached 100 mark, with youth with plackards and guitars started singing the Anna tunes and songs. The people spontaneously joined and by the time we ended the crowd had swelled to 400. The slogans against corruption and the current politicians were well supported by patriotic songs. In such an event GRA will walk a victory lap around the garden and then start a new candle light vigil for a Lok Ayukta Bill for Goa on the lines similar to the Lok Pal at the Centre.
