Dear Bosco, The copyright holder is the producer and director of the film. If you purchase a physical copy of the movie you do not automatically get copyright. I wonder how much Jerome paid Frank Ferdinand or his estate/descendants. Did he pay anything at all? Does he have their permission to reproduce and sell the film? Cheers! Cecil One has to differenciate between 'copyright' and just purchasing a CD that is protected by copyright. Publishing copy writed item is indeed illegal. When the producer sells, the copyright is included. Payment is irrelevant.
