According to Wikipedia, as at 2011, Canada had a population of approximately 
33.4 million and according to the Adoption Council of Canada the number of 
overseas adoptions in 2010 was 1,946 in total. Of this total, 472 were from 
China, 172 from Haiti and 148 from US. A breakdown of the rest you will be able

Of these 1,946 overseas adoptions in Canada, I beg to differ from you that many 
of these will have been made by couples who you say consider themselves 
"Canadian first rather than Goan", even the very few made I feel sure will have 
been mostly by mixed race couples (where one partner is Canadian-Goan).
