If one reads Goan history one will find out that Floriano Lobo is most likely not a Goan based on the same tortuous historical logic that he and a few other non-Goans use in this forum. But he and they are Indian by lineage and tradition. Floriano is fighting for the independence of today's Goa but virtually nobody in Goa supports him or his party. He is able to freely express his secessionist opinions and his intolerance towards the political views of Goans and other Indians because he lives in a democratic country.
