Antony informed Mr. Shantaram Naik, M.P in the Rajya Sabha, today, in a written reply that, “The Indian Navy is in possession of total of 1627.19 acres of land at Dabolim, Goa. The same is being used for Naval Air Station including associated operational, administrative and training facilities and for married accommodation. 34.446 acres of the said land has been transferred to AAI.” Divulging of detailed information regarding survey number, area and use of each parcel of land is not recommended in view of national security concerns, Minister said.
