Hi,
I've been working on getting things back up to date for a while now,
with the idea of hopefully getting a CD out with a reasonable upgrade
path.
Hey, great news. I downloaded the (updated) tarball, but I didn't get
a chance to install it yet. My system is actually based on one of the
old 015-alphas (using /System/Index) so I need to be careful, because
installing the snapshot as is would likely break things in my work
machine.
In other news, I have a small contribution: I just downloaded the
latest LibreOffice, extracted the RPMs and packed a binary package out
of it:
http://gobolinux.org/packages/official/LibreOffice--3.5.0--i686.tar.bz2
I couldn't assess specific dependencies, but it worked out of the box
on my system.
I tried installing that when i first spotted it on the packages rss, but
as far as i could tell it was missing binaries and libraries at least.
Hrmf, mailed too soon. Checking the package size on the server i see it
is 141MB so likely something happened during download the last time. I
guess i had some kind of spotty connection at the time. Been somewhat
questionable since the winter new years storm hit...
