I recently spending a few minutes looking at docker http://docker.io
Looks rather nice for a server.  It'd be great to do a Gobo version for
desktop/workstations.  Let the parent distro handle all the tedious tasks
and Gobo handle user applications.  It should be system wide rather than
just living in $HOME.  Maybe distro-agnostic but I wouldn't care if it was
Gobo for day to day use.
