Some things are better left unsaid. Mainly because you can
be assured that there will always be a wacko somewhere to say
'ooooh, it would be sooo cool if...' and spend a whole Sunday
morning experimenting with things that shouldn't be diddled by Man.
Anyway, I am pleased to announce that the TPR(0,3) golf tournament
is now accessible through SMS. The first service to be offered is called
'Dial-a-rank'. To access one's personal rank for the course, you can
go to
http://babyl.dyndns.org/golf/status.cgi?course_id=3;golfer_id=<golf_id>
where <golf_id> is your id as per the PGAS database.
For example,
http://babyl.dyndns.org/golf/status.cgi?course_id=3;golfer_id=235
will show you
Jerome Quelin
rank: 2
score: 90.29
leader: 88.38
Comments and suggestions for other services are of course welcome.
And no, I don't have a cell phone. :)
Joy,
`/anick
