Is it correct that the new API can only be used to search site/s and
not Google globally?
The info:
     http://code.google.com/apis/customsearch/v1/using_rest.html
seems to suggest  that you have to provide a Custom search engine
identifier (cx or cref) to use the
service, so I wonder if you can use the new API in the same fashion as
the old one?
