is the delay updated rss item through ajax.googleapis.com/services/ feed/load?v=1.0 a design? or a bug?
i did the following test and found out a cache problem in loading rss via ajax.googleapis.com/services/feed/load?v=1.0 1. i use google doc to create a new spreadsheet and publish it via rss https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/list/0AnOCt5NNmEuXdDhWVFEtMWpleGROeFNjS0RhN1RhMFE/od6/public/basic?hl=en_GB&alt=rss 2. fire up your browser, visit the above link, you would see above rss feed. 3. open another tab, then load the above rss via googleapis.com the link should be like below. https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/services/feed/load?v=1.0&q=https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/list/0AnOCt5NNmEuXdDhWVFEtMWpleGROeFNjS0RhN1RhMFE/od6/public/basic?hl=en_GB&alt=rss now, modify this google spreadsheet content, add new key or delete then republish it. i gave permission (anyone to edit this spreadsheet via link) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnOCt5NNmEuXdDhWVFEtMWpleGROeFNjS0RhN1RhMFE after you make changes to google spreadsheet, (close browser, clear history, restart your pc) try reload, view the rss via direct link and via googleapis.com the direct link will updated with changes, but the googleapis.com will just load the previous stuff as if no changes made. i don't know if this is by design to prevent repetitive abuse rss loading or BUG? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google AJAX APIs" group.
