Jeremy - thank you for your reply.  The service appears to have fortunately 
popped back on today.  
 
Does anyone have a suggestion on where I can find a replacement code from 
Google (newer code that they still support) for photos, blog posts, news, 
and videos.  Here is an example of what I want to achieve in the center of 
this page *

(if the API is still working today, you will see the feed in the middle of 
the page).  Is their any newer method to achieve this?
 
This issue has certainly opened my eyes that I can not rely on this API any 
longer.  In my opinion, with the service running the pages look great and 
are an excellent resource of information for my viewers.  It is a shame to 
no longer provide my viewers the resource, but I agree it may be time to 
slowing start removing the API from my pages (which will take me a very 
long time).
