Ugh. I don't have time for a religious war, so this will be my only post in this thread.
1) Don't become a fanatic about anything. It's just software. 2) Maven is a gigantic steaming pile of crap. If you need to read books to make your build system work, you have a defective process. There's plenty of debate about this on the web. Search for it. I comment here just because I don't want a noob to accept this mantra blindly.
