Btw - JPA2 and Objectify are similar in terms of technology. So you can always use RequestFactory and Objectify or RequestFactory and JPA2. Objectify does a great job providing a great persistence layer exclusively for App Engine. JPA2 is more general and will work (in theory) for other Datastores, too.
