I damn hope so because the clashes between servlet-api:2.5 and javax.servlet-api:3.1.0 (in GWT SDK, but I'm sure this is the same for other frontend libraries, too) are becoming a major PITA:
See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/38979519/why-cant-gwt-connect-to-superdevmode-server-in-multi-module-maven-project which continues into: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/google-web-toolkit/dF8KhbxnlBY The <exclusions> workaround seems to work, but it's inconsistent it seems... still testing various setups. It's a pain having to setup GWT to use Java 8 and App Engine to use Java 7. We appreciate the 'update' Amir, but all anyone has said is "we're working on it" for 3 years now. Ugh, sorry for the rant. +1 I suppose :| On Thursday, 25 August 2016 23:09:57 UTC+1, Nick wrote: > > Is this wrapped up with supporting servlet specs greater than 2.5? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google App Engine" group.
