I damn hope so because the clashes between servlet-api:2.5 and 
javax.servlet-api:3.1.0 (in GWT SDK, but I'm sure this is the same for 
other frontend libraries, too) are becoming a major PITA:

The <exclusions> workaround seems to work, but it's inconsistent it 
seems... still testing various setups.

It's a pain having to setup GWT to use Java 8 and App Engine to use Java 7.

We appreciate the 'update' Amir, but all anyone has said is "we're working 
on it" for 3 years now.

Ugh, sorry for the rant.
