Hi Robert, I quote from point #10 of the API ToS<http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/terms/api_terms.html> :
The Audit API is not designed and should not be used for general backup, archival, or journaling purposes. Google reserves the right to prevent a customer from using the Audit API in ways that might adversely impact the performance or usability of the Audit API. Given your particular situation, you are probably the best judge as to whether your use case is in line with these terms.
