We're building support tools for our service desk and have found a bug/shortcoming in the vacation responder settings returned by the Email Settings API.
The API does not return responder start/end dates. However, it does return a flag showing if the responder is enabled or not. The problem with this is that the responder can be enabled but the date range has passed, meaning its effectively disabled. Without the dates being returned there's no way to tell if the responder is really "active". This appears similar to issue 2440<http://code.google.com/a/google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2440> however it is not the same thing. Ideally the start/end date would be available. Failing that, the API should return "disabled" if the responder settings are outside the date range. Can an issue be created for this please?
