Hi Michael, Thanks for the hint. What would you recommend to actually do the base64 encoding. I've used org.apache.commons.codec.binary.Base64 in the past, I assume that would work or is there a better Google way to do it? That is, I am assuming that you encode(rfcText) above is calling something to do the encoding. thanks again, -Tomas
