OK,
    Completely repaired. Update now working ..

    Turns out that  the Description field was put into the
Content.Content field
and then ignored/trashed/disgarded, hence it was not being returned
    So, the description is actually in the content field and easily
changed .. so update now works fine, no more delete and add .. all is
well .. thanks for the help ..
