Thanks for the information, Lucian! I'm also still seeing this problem on our servers in the US. The problem is also reproducible with the calendar demo application provided by Google (gcal_demo). I submitted an issue report for Google (http://code.google.com/a/ google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2538).
