You're hosting a fair amount of binary data in your current repository. Is this common throughout the project, or just within your dependencies? If this is archival source it may be worthwhile hosting it separately in your downloads section, rather than in the repository itself. It's also worth mentioning that we apply a lot of compression on our own end, so you may end up requiring far less than 281MB when you migrate to Google Code.
If you think a 400MB increase is absolutely necessary I should be able to provide one, but I suspect the optimized requirements may be much lower.
