Dear Google Code, I have written a software library called Eads Time Series Extensions (ETSE), which is a collection of algorithms useful for clustering and classifying time series. The symbol name ETSE pervades throughout my code base including dependent code. The project approval status was put on hold because there is already an existing project with the name ETSE on SourceForge. I do not think there should be any concern over naming collisions with my project with the one hosted on sourceforge for the following five reasons:
1. The project was created on June 5, 2005 and no activity has occurred since then. 2. The project maintainers have not released any code. 3. Neither the name of the code "Montemel" nor the description, "A simulation of "Circuit de Catalunya"'s race made in OpenGL." contain the words ETSE. 4. The only two modules in the etse CVS repository are entorn, projecte, and "Nueva carpeta", none of which contain etse in the name. 5. None of the source files in these repositories contain the symbol ETSE, etse, or any variant capitalization, which I confirmed with grep. Please consider approving my project given these considerations. Thank you.
