Okay, I ran into this "problem" a few weeks ago. Actually you do a super service to let me host my code. Really awesome, I appreciate it, because it is uncomplicated and free and I can share my stuff with the world under well know and established Licenses. Anyway, I miss one Feature.. to be able to let my program check its version with current available version. Could we have an API or something like that for requesting a self set versionnumber from our projects? I think this would be very cool and helpful. I need to get an external server just for that.. So for example, you set the current version in your projects options and then you are able to pull that number from googlecode via libcurl and compare the outcome. Is something like that already similar without parsing the whole website? Just a few thoughts. regards
