I have one in my SVN. But maybe I was not clear enough about it.
I want my "Customers" to be able to check the version from inside the
program.
Like you can on Firefox and such.
Easiest method to do this is to download a textfile from a server or
xml and such.
Atm I have use a free Webhoster for it, but well, they could see a
problem with it, since they want websites and not be misused as
filehoster.
If I ask for the File from SVN I either would have to built in SVN
Functionality to get the plain file or to parse the website which
shows the source browser
to get the content from the version file.
I hope I was easier to understand now. Don't know how to explain if
that does not show my point :D.
